Music Theatre report: Donna Hinds Sawyers
Fall 2017 had 62 students and 11 teachers participate; hosted by LSC-Montgomery
Classical Report: Michael Walsh
Spring 2018 has 202 students and 35 teachers. Auditionware will now handle all registrations and will bill NATS for each registration. Reserving U of H next year: need to wait until the end of the academic year to reserve it.
Workshops Report: Serdar Ilban was absent; Elisa Thompson said he arranged for Clinician. Fee was reimbursed by NATS National- $450 by National and $450 by GHNATS
Winners’ Recital Report: Last year voted for Winners’ Recital in the same year. Sunday, May 6, at 4pm at HCC Spring Branch. Hardest part is getting teachers to respond to requests for repertoire for 1st place winners.
Jason Lester begins motion to new election process since Debra Greschner (past president) was unable to attend. Slate of new officers (see below) was presented. Nominees left the room for voting. 2018-2020 Board was elected without issue. Motion was moved by Isabelle Ganz. Seconded motion by Summer Song. Call for vote by Beverly Laubach and seconded by Vicki Gorman. All in Favor- unanimous Yea. No nays. No abstain votes.

Karen Crandon- shared a story on her special students. A family had a daughter hit by a drunk driver. 6 days later she attended Texoma NATS. ‘Do what I love to do’. Goal oriented students do what they love.
